Following the release of new data from the Wheelock Educational Policy Center, E4E-Connecticut calls on lawmakers to modernize layoff policies. "Connecticut does not have to choose between honoring veteran educators and protecting the teachers students need," says Executive Director Daniel Pearson. "Nearly half of all states already weigh multiple criteria alongside seniority—Connecticut must do the same."
